TK Maxx has opened its previously announced store at Damrak in Amsterdam on Thursday 12 May. It will be the fifteenth and largest branch of the off-price retailer in the Netherlands.
The shop in the building that previously housed C&A will consist of five floors and a surface area of approximately 4400 square meters. Customers can go there for fashion, shoes, accessories, beauty, toys and homeware. The third store in the capital is good for about 250 jobs.
TK Maxx offers products that, in its own words, are 60% cheaper than the recommended retail price. It is a subsidiary of the American TJX Companies. In Europe, the chain has more than six hundred stores, in addition to the Netherlands in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Poland, Germany and Austria.
